To improve the project management competency within Airtel Africa, 130 project managers across their Africa operations were identified to go through the PMP® preparation development program, with the ultimate goal of obtaining their PMP® certification.
Bharti Airtel wanted to partner with a PMI® Authorized Training Partner (ATP) to provide confidence that the organisation and their trainers were approved by the Project Management Institute and used the PMI® licensed course content.
The program kicked off with an Orientation Session where the delegates were taken through the program, the program expectations and their materials. This was followed by five x 1 day virtual classroom live facilitator led training sessions (every 2nd week) reviewing PMI® licensed course content and additional topics, including Professional Responsibility and Exam Preparation. The program was delivered through pm.ideas Learning Transfer Platform – Promote, which included the delegates learning journey and additional resources. The delegates had access to the Trainers before, during and after the training for additional support.
